RETBE 2012, 9th International Conference on the Role of Engineering Towards a Better Environment follows the path of the previous editions: it aims

• To discuss the environmental impact of global warming and climate changes especially sea level rise.
• To address environmentally sound water resources issues.
• To initiate environmental policies considering the needs of introducing nuclear and renewable energy sources.
• To enhance the well-being for all people through addressing issues of environmental technology and sustainable environment.
